Buddy

Buddy came into our lives as an eight-week-old bundle of golden fur and never stopped being a source of joy for 14 wonderful years. He greeted every morning with his tail spinning like a helicopter, and he had an uncanny ability to find whoever needed him most on a hard day. He loved swimming in the lake every summer, chasing squirrels he never caught, and sleeping at the foot of our bed even though he was never officially invited. He was there for every birthday, every move, every heartbreak, and every celebration. He was the constant thread through all of it. Buddy taught us that unconditional love is real and that joy can be found in a sunny patch of grass, a car ride with the windows down, or simply sitting beside someone you love. We miss him every single day. Good boy, Buddy. The best.
