# In Memory of Luna
Luna was a Siamese of rare distinction — vocal in her opinions, elegant in her bearing, and utterly certain that Portland's finest sunbeams existed solely for her. She filled her home with personality larger than any room could contain, whether she was conducting a spirited conversation with her family, offering unsolicited editorial assistance from the center of a laptop keyboard, or allowing the gentle strains of Bach to wash over her in that regal, half-lidded way only a Siamese truly masters. To know Luna was to live under the benevolent rule of a creature who loved fiercely and demanded the same in return — and her family, enriched beyond measure by her years with them, gave it gladly. She leaves behind a home made quieter by her absence, two devoted hearts full of gratitude for every opinionated, sun-warmed, gloriously inconvenient moment she graced them with, and one goldfish who may never fully understand what he witnessed.
